The original 70s PAPER LACE started in 1967, the two founder members Phil Wright (Lead Vocalist & Drummer), Cliff Fish (Vocalist & Bass Player) are still in the band and continue to perform today, together with Phil Hendriks (Vocalist & Guitar) and Dave Major (Vocalist & Keyboards). Phil and Cliff sang and played on Paper Lace's big hits in the 1970s, with such songs as 'Billy Don't Be A Hero', which reached #1 in the UK Charts in March 1974 and 'The Night Chicago Died' which reached #1 in the United States in 1974. The original 70s Paper Lace continues to be a great live act with sell out tours in New Zealand & Australia, and even more upcoming tours in the UK - you can't afford to miss out on their performances!
