Stories have been handed down throughout the ages, some have never been written down and they are recreated in the storytellers own words, others are written down for posterity. 
Generations of youngsters have been entertained by their elders as a way of passing down traditions, teaching moral values or just for amusement and pleasure.

Amanda Hadlett is a teacher who uses her talent for storytelling alongside her husband Mark to bring tales to children using his musical talent to enhance the experience. Appropriately themed costumes can be worn if required. They're ideal for Medieval fayres, Victorian events, Halloween, Christmas stories, bespoke stories welcomed.

Derek Carpenter has been storytelling for number years using his two characters Kamishibai Man and Williams Wordmonger. Japanese Kamishibai Theatre is a picture card method of storytelling using the back of a two-wheel bike. The stories can be designed to stimulate philosophical discussions in children and can be personalised to suit any curriculum. Williams Wordmonger tells stories using rhyme, sing-a-long music and generally interacting with children and adults alike, the aim being to get children interested in words! He carries his portable peddlers pack on his back as a mobile resource encouraging children to play with words.

Fionnaghal is a member of the Society for Storytelling. She specialises in tales from Britain and Ireland expecially Berkshire, Oxfordshire and other parts of central Southern England. Some tales are true, whilst the origins of others are lost in the mist of time. Fionnaghal is ideal for storytelling festivals, clubs, country parks, schools, libraries and various other events.

Gary Cordingley has been a storyteller both nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Aw well as being the southwest rep for the Society of Storytelling he is a multi-talented disciplined professional artist with a background in street theatre, storytelling, illustration, drama and music. His stories are suitable for a range of ages and abilities and he is ideal for schools, museums, libraries, theatres... fields, woodlands or railway stations.
